I am doing a report on a critic of Of mice and men and his name is Dr. Scarseth. He says the story has the three classic unities.

Time, space and action. The unity of time requires that all action take place in a single day, preferably without interruption. The unity of space would be that the action takes place in a single location. Finally the unity of action itself is that there is one major action, one major plot. A play that has subplots, taking place in multiple locations and where the action seems to take longer than a single day would be violating all three unities.
