"superior" when he himself had brown hair and brown eyes. It doesn't make much sense. Now, does it?

No, not much. He was a fan of Norse legends, and those kinds of physical features go with that, more or less. Eventually the Nazi's also considered "Germans" to be a super-race. Which was ironic since Hitler was Austrian.

Hitler (whose real name was Shickelgruber) was raised in an area near the German border, whose culture was very much influenced by the Prussian and Austrian Empires of the Victorian period. There are various websites about Hitler's family situation and his youth. A lot of those are good insights about how he became the kind of thinker he was.

If you look at people of Northern European descent (Finish, Swiss, etc.), the fairer the complexion. He wanted to promote this northern European blood, so he encouraged people to practice eugenics and sterilization.
Although he did have a darker complexion and was 1/8 Jewish, he knew if he placed Jews as scapegoats, it would be easier to recognize them, due to their darker complexion (sorry, but I'm using his stereotype, not mine).
In his twisted mind, he believed to be of the pure race was to be yellow-haired and blue-eyed, which would be completely devoid of Jewish, Arab or any lesser ethnicity.
Today it doesn't make sense, but remember, he was speaking to a country whose pride had been seriously damaged by the Great War. What used to be one of the top five superpowers in Europe was slowly falling down the list to be on the same level as...gasp*Italy or Israel!
A lot of people heard what he said and believed that Germany deserved to be on top. Who cares if some Jews get killed? They're used to it by now.

I think he had blue eyes and brown hair. Some people believe that Hitler may have been a closeted homosexual who had a fixation for young blonde men.

what about all the good things Hitler did? He had a great garden and beautiful landscape. He always made sure the mailman had an awesome X-mas present. The Berlin Wall was constructed by people not aliens like the pyramids.

No it doesn't. But then again, Hitler wasn't that much of a genetic anthropologist, either.

There is no such thing as a "superior race." God did not create us so that one of us can be "superior" over another.

It's true that he believed that those characteristics signified that a person was a non-Jew. But you have to remember that a lot of his hatred of the Jewish people had to do with internalized racism- he himself was, by his own definitions, 1/4 Jewish. Internalized racism is a strange, strange thing...but I guess there's rather a lot of it in the world. Just look at all of these pop stars who dye their hair, bleach their skin, etc. It's sad and twisted.

blonde/blue were traits of northern europeans. hitler thought that scandanavians were superior to germans, genetically speaking. their gene pool had not been "tainted" by middle eastern blood(jews).

hitler didnt pick his superior race just because he fit the description. he had other reasons.

it doesn't make sense but he thought in his twisted little mind that the Aryan race was pure and superior to others, a bit like how the Japanese dynasties thought that they were superior so they shut down their gates to the Europeans
