WHen I finish High School I am going to college to be a Pharmacist, and that takes 6 years so I though I could work as a Pharmacy Tech untill I finish College.

In Illinois, you don't even have to take a test. You just have to fill out a form and mail it in. Many pharmacies refuse to hire high school age techs.
You can't take the certification exam until you have a high school diploma or GED.

It is not too hard. Like anything else, nothing is hard once u take the time to learn it. It has a lot to do w. measurements and compound pharmacy mixing. I took mine about 4 years ago. Not sure how much has changed. Do u have a job in a pharmacy now? It is always best to have a job w/ a co. like CVS or Rite Aid they will pay for the classes and the test. They will give u great study toold to pass the test.

I;m hoping its a tough exam. What with all the dispensing of drugs to the sick and that.
