ok...well im not gonna lie i used not to like cheerleaders and then i took a tumbling and stunting course at my high school and i found that it was really fun. i loved stunting so much!! now i have more respect for the girl's cause i know that (most) of them do it cause its fun. (but i do think that i small amount do it for popularity.)
what do u think about cheerleaders?

i lot of ppl think cheerleaders r dumb, peppy, mean n popular, n blond
im a cheerleader: not dumb, i have an average of As n Bs, im rarely super peppy, not popular n im nice, n im a brunette
cheerleaders work there buts off
ppl have no reason to hate them

Its just that most cheerleaders are stuck up because they think they are so hot. So most people hate their crappy attitudes, and so now even when they are nice cheerleaders people still think of them as the same. I don't like or dislike them because of the sport they play.

i coach cheerleading so don't get me wrong a love cheerleaders, but there is still your sterotypical cheerleaders out there, and a lot of people tend to judge cheerleaders on those girls. there are some girls out there who do it for the attention, and popularity. but a lot of the girls that do it are really sweet people. for me you just have to get to know each individual for who they are not what they are.

I see no problem with it. Their awareness for the game is sometimes shakey, what I mean by that is that there is a time to cheer and be happy and there is a time not to. If your team is losing 42-0, shut up and don't cheer. No one is in the mood to cheer. I do agree that some do it just for the popularity.

I don't kno why people hate cheerleaders so much. Cheerleadings an assume sport, i love cheerleaders : )
