ok well u kno how petstores have that liquid stuff to take out the chemicals in water for fish.. can u use that for turtle water?? i used a bit and i wonder if its ok for turtles? lol i got theone of the mini turtles from china town! so cute and yes i already kno they have salmonella and i am careful

they have special reptile water conditioner(Reptisafe) for about the same amount of money as fish water conditioner. it works great. i wouldnt use the ffish one bc its filled with addtives that produce slime coating on fish and also adds elements to the water. your better off buy the reptile water conditioner. i hope this helps and below is a pic and price of the reptile conditioner

It is safe, but a waste of money. There is no documented difference between turtles raised in tap water and those raised in treated water. Basically- if you can drink it, they can live in it.

This makes sense- fish and amphibians breathe the water or absorb it through their skin, so most chemicals are not as big of a deal.

However, a certain amount of diligence makes sense. Let the water sit in an open container for about 24 hours and the chlorine will evaporate out.

You can use the same water drops used for Beta Fish. I think its called "Aqua Safe" and what I do is put one tiny drop into a jug of water and then put it in the tank. I've had them for four months and I've always done that.

yes its fine but it don't matter at all because turtles live in dirty water so your tap water w/ the drops are fine. good luck
