If you go to this web site, www.LetsSayThanks.com
you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox
will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in
Iraq . You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to some member of the
armed services.
How AMAZING it would be if we coul d get everyone we know to send one!!!
This is a great site. Please send a card. It is FREE and it only takes a
second.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether
you are for or against the war, our guys and gals over there need to know we
are behind them...

AJ, my friend and my contact, I am sorry for you and understand. I gave you thumbs up because your feelings and opinions are just as important to me as anyone else's. Try to remember that the soldiers on both sides of this war did not choose this fight, the upper people on both sides made that decision. I feel bad for the soldiers on both sides.

I just went and sent a card..it's the least an American can do for a soldier. I try to "Thank" a soldier whenever I meet one. This Veterans Day now more than ever my Thoughts and Prayers are with our Soldiers and their loved ones.

Done, Breezey! What a great site- I saved it to my favorites! I had the honor and privelage of hosting a Veteran's Day Program this week. The American Legion were our Guests, and 11 of our Veterans attended this Program, along with their proud Family and Friends. My Grandfather was a WW I hero. My Great-Great Grandfather was in the Civil War, surviving "Andersonville Prison". I have 2 Cousins serving our Country @ this time, as Marines! GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS! Thanks for this wonderful, awesome idea! COME ON FOLKS, IT DOES WORK- HAVE PATIENCE! IT WILL APPEAR- IF I CAN DO IT, SO CAN YOU!

There is a store in my area that collects care packages for soldiers in Iraq. They recommend personal care products (health, grooming, comfort, etc) for men and women. If you send toilet tissue, take the cardboard roll out of the center and flatten the whole roll so it doesn't take up so much space. They also list snack foods and powdered mixes, spices, etc They request CD's, DVD's, disposable cameras, pre-paid phone cards, playing cards. K-9 "troops" also request rawhide bones, flea shampoo, dog treats. It's suggested that you can include a personal note, if you wish

My hat off to you dear as that was absolutely the nicest thing I think anyone has done on here. I sent the card, and for the people that could not, all you have to do is type it in, and there it is, very easy. I show my thanks all year to our troops as I always donate to the Paralyzed Vets of America, because of what they do for us to protect our freedom of this great country of ours. God Bless all the troops everywhere in the world. You rock young lady and thank you for giving me that information.Have a great evening.

I care about them. But I believe this conflict is wrong. I would like to let any of them know that is reading this that they are in my thoughts. And I wish they could all be home for Christmas.

What if we arn't behind them?

I'm against the war in every sense. These people have my best regards and my hopes are that they stay safe. but I really dont believe they should be out there.

And I hope they aren't haunted by their war stories.
