I saw my friend's penis both hard and not and I didn't say anything (I saw the hard bulge pointing upward once and the other time his was hanging out of his shorts when we were playing video games on his couch). but i want him 2 no i saw it 4 to reasons:

Honestly? The next time he's hanging out, just blandly comment for him to put himself away. He'll know you saw it and he'll get the idea to keep himself tucked away a little better. You can also just kick him and then pointedly look at his crotch and he'll get the gist. It's kind of like telling someone their zipper is down.
