I have a Sears 1970's chainsaw model 358.352050. Can someone explain how the automatic chain oiler works /or direct me to a website that gives a picture breakdown of the saw and oiler. Mine stopped working & I would like to fix it.

The website you seek is
www3.sears.com
I just looked at your saw there. The pictures are not very good, but you should get an idea of how it's supposed to be.

There is a pump mounted on the side of the engine. There are small plastic hoses that takes the oil from the tank to the chain. If the hoses have holes it will not work. There also is a small fitting on the end of the hose in the tank called a duck bill. That has to be there and working. If the duckbill isn't on the hose look in the bottom of the tank.
