The "how you know if your ignorant" Test:
*Do you judge someone based on ANYTHING before you actually meet them?
This includes their physical appearance, their accent, race & color, their lifestyle, their sexual orientation, their political preference, anything you can think of!
I hope you believe in individualism....

not at all. Ignorant only means they have little to no knowledge on a particular topic. Stupidity is something totally different. people get the two confused. before we put ignorant people down, lets remember we are all ignorant in certain areas, If I started talking to you about splitting atoms, you may not have knowledge to hold a conversation, you would be ignorant to the subject. If you talked to me about sewing, I would be ignorant on that...

When I first read the top of your question, without reading the rest I was shocked!
I don't run into ignorant people. I give everyone a chance. I love to talk to people and find out what they are interested in. May not be what I know but I always feel that I can learn something from someone.
I think we should not carry on a conversation like we know it all rather speak to others as if we can learn more.
Yes no mater what they look like, how they speak or WHAT they believe.
Thumbs up to you Rob!

I, personally can not stand the smear campaign against Obama being spread by McCain/Palin. I am neither Democrat nor Republican. But after listening to all this garbage the Repubican side is spewing, I wouldn't vote these two in for dog catchers!

Yes, I have been sick of it for a long time. I don't 'judge' anyone at all. "Judge not lest ye...." I am an individual and believe everyone else is too. To me all people are as valuable as I am, and I simply get to know them. They let me know who and what they are. Nothing and no one else.

You were my first contact. I added you without knowing any of that. lol
I do not judge because it's not the way to pick a friend and I would not want others to judge me. I have friends here that I don't know all of those things about them and they are still my friends. I want to know a person based on their personality first. I think even you know that about me.

i'm beyond sick of it. i really shouldn't let it get to me. i should just ignore it because they refuse to open their eyes and give everyone a fair chance. yes, i do believe in individualism. if everyone was the same it would be boring. california is one of more diverse states so we are both lucky to live here. although, even here we have ignorant people. very sad.

I judge people for many things, but I always use the world maybe, and for sure we can get some informations from their actions, looks and so on.
