Sounds like an overheating issue. Buzzing sound might be the CPU or power supply cooling fan failing.
Its a pretty easy fix replacing the CPU fan or just getting a new power supply. Not sure about the power supply on your computer. Companies like HP and Dell like to rearrange the connectors cables to trick people into paying $150 for $5 power supplies.

I would suspect that your system is overheating. Try blowing compressed air into the heat vent on the back. But that will only help a little bit. You likely have a heatsink or fan problem and need service.

Hi. Laptops are sensitive to heat. Sounds like yours may be overheating. Clean out the dust bunnies and keep the fan(s) clear.

Are the fans running? Seems like it could be a cooling issue... Best to call the manufacturer and see what they recommend.

That could be a number of things. I'd need to ask a number of questions. BUT it just sounds like your monitor is shot.
