ABSOLUTELY.

It is widely understood that ultra high frequency radio signals require very small antenna lengths, and as it happens the length of most metal braces applied to teeth are almost a perfect match for the radio frequencies involved. In addition, early radio receivers used diodes for the detector portion of the radio receiver. In the mouths of humans, silver and gold metals (the braces) when immersed in saliva (the liquid in your mouth) form an almost perfect diode arrangement. So, built into your mouth could be perhaps the best portable radio stealth receiver you can buy. No one will be able to tell you have it on and are receiving signals through the bones in your ear and skull.

Perhaps you will be one of the select few individuals to hear the first clear radio broadcasts from our alien friends. Imagine the absolute joy of being able to listen in on your friends Cell Phone calls just by opening your mouth a little bit. With time you should be able to tune the frequency of your braces receiver by adjusting the position of your jaw, and, or tongue in your mouth. Once that process is turned into a talent, you could in effect search the high frequency radio spectrum for signals that you wish to listen to no matter where you are.

People with this ability are called "Receptors." They earn fantastic wages as they move freely about in our society listening to various things of financial and economic interest.

Were you to desire to pay special attention to signals from space, I would recommend spending a great deal of time outside with your mouth angled upward toward the heavens as if you might be talking to someone in deep space. This would present the braces antenna system in its full glory to the distant stars so that you could receive the strongest possible signal when it comes finally in.

And finally I would also offer a cautionary note to you. During periods of electrical storm activity when static bursts are most likely at their highest level, it would be highly adviseable to remain indoors (metal building preferred, metal roof at minimum) with your mouth (containing the braces antena)closed (shut down). Static crash noise delevered to the bones of your inner ear and skull will become most objectionable over time if you fail to do this.

No.
First- Even if they do attract a signal, it will most likely be from a satellite that NASA has up there.

Second- Its not worth the money, braces are not cheap, and the ones that are will mess up your teeth FOR LIFE.

Third-Its not worth the pain. Dentists take braces very seriously and in order to make sure the braces are doing their job they have to tighten your braces every couple to 6 months for the next minimum of two years. The whole process is aggravating and painful no matter how high your tolerance of pain is.

Fourth-Finally if you think you can attract a signal like from aliens or something extraterrestrial then you will need a lot more equipment than some braces....

Well, if that's what you want to do braces is as good a way as any.
Not that it will work, of course. If there were signals from outer space we would have detected them by now - there are all kinds of instruments being used all the time to detect signals. And those instruments would be a lot more sensitive than a set of braces.

But go for it anyway - you never know what you might discover (about space or about yourself).

Yea, what the heck.
Only if you need the filing tho.
Amalgum is not good to have in your teeth.
I had mine changed to white fillings a few years ago & i think it has made me feel better..
I had an old uncle who claimed he got radio through the silver filings in his teeth
this was about 40 years ago & i think i've heard other things
wouldn't it be great if you could get some satellite radio tho ?
