SCIENCE FAIR---our teacher told us that it had to be an experiment that u can "find in a book" and that it has to be experimantal with a display.does anyone know any fun unique ideas. but not really childish because im in 7th grade. Our teacher told us to ask around and research and stuff but im completely clueless when it comes to this stuff. Please be descriptive...

Heres a fun and easy one. Make a battery using a lemon. Science teachers always love this one, especially if you understand how it works.
You need a copper strip, and a zinc strip, but a penny and dime can be substituted, a lemon and a small flashlight bulb.
What happens is the acid strips the electrons off the penny and fills the dime with electrons, thus creating a charge which you can hook up to a small flash light bulb.

You will need a few things.

Dirty copper pennies

White vinager & salt

Put a cup of vinager in a cup & then add a teaspon of salt then add.... the pennies & see the tarnish come off the pennies
