the homless person you see every day or do you stop and ask are they ok

i always say hello to homeless people and sometimes have a chat. i never ignore anyone

I don't see them anymore, but there was one homeless guy in the town I grew up in who I saw a lot collecting cans. During the holidays especially I would see him in the lobbies of retail stores. He was not a beggar, just wanted to get warm. I gave him some money sometimes if I had the extra to give. He is a war vet with no place to go and not just some bum who didn't want to work. I feel bad for people like him and wish I could help more.

It depends on the individual if they seem mentally ill try to help them out getting them a meal or drink.
But then you get others that are opportunists;making a living out of begging when in fact they dont need the money. Ive seen a case where a woman would drop off this guy at the train station he was set up with a float and everything.I stay away from these ones.

I do not see homeless people.

Maybe once a week when I go down into the city.

When I see them, I smile and say hi, just like I do to anyone else!

I rarely see homeless, but when I do, I look away. I know this is not the right thing to do

but once i saw one in paris ... and my friend yelled ... 'SHOULD HAVE GONE TO COLLEGE' ... haha it was soo funny
