Don't worry ! This was the topic of discussion the other night. The end of time has been on its was ever since I was a kid. This was hard for on me as I was a very gelable kid ! Fear not. We live in a pretty good place. Its good for the media in all forms. Makes big bucks ! I am getting tired of it my self. NO one can predict anything except their own actions. Plan ahead , and live well :-)

Well , lets not disdain the whole issue without checking out the basic facts. This prediction isn't done by Nostradamus , it was done by Maya about 2300 years ago . Maya were a group of adept astrologers who predicted of such a disaster would fall in the winter for the major world (Upper Hemisphere). The only universally accepted knowledge and language today is Mathematics. So we have a task of proving this disaster mathematically. Why the number 21-12-2012 ? The numbers 21 & 12 are mirrors of each other , which indicate symmetry or justification. why 2012 ? 20 + 1+2 = 23. 2/3=0.666666666666.....666 is the devil's number. The next question that arises is that whether the term 'World coming to an end' necessarily mean the destruction of life ? ...'World coming to an end' could also mean a change in the current working system of the human life to allow a different force or follow a different way of life ...What does this mean ? ...In simple terms...the first act of the 'AntiChrist'....The reign that every astrologer has been talking about will finally come in colors.

I know it has been said based on the Mayan calender who have apparently predicted all of the latest catastrophes. I also know that scientist are researching the sun and believe that the earths axis will tilt about 45 degrees which could possibly cause all of the volcano's to erupt at the same time. I m not sure if I believe the world will end in 2012 but I have heard this and it is something I am viewing further at this time. There is a book called Apocalypse 2012 you should read it.

The only reason there are some rumors of the world ending in 2012 is that the Mayan calendar predicted the exact date of this world's end, which on the Roman calendar is December 21, 2012. The likelihood of the mythology of people who lived 1500 years ago being correct seems very far fetched.

You shouldn't worry too much about these things. There is nothing you can do to change it if it does. Just keep planning for your future and make the right decisions to make sure that plan happens. The basis of the 2012 scare is the Mayan Calendar, while they were able to accomplish some great things, I don't believe predicting the future was one of them.

ok nostradamus said that 2012 would be the end times, and so did the mayans. the reason for this beleif is a magnetic, and solar alignment with the center of the milky way galaxy. the posibilitys of this happening are extremely remote, yet on december 12 of that year it will happen. we are currently going through global warming or maybe a precursor to the true end times. i personally think that all this is hogwash. i am a christian and in the bible jesus says that noone knows but the father what time he will return. and he will return as a theif in the night. people have predicted past appocolypses only to discover they were wrong... y2k

This is an urban myth perpetrated by someone 'discovering' that the Mayan (or was it Aztec) calendar 'ended' on 21 Dec 2012.
Why would that culture have any knowledge of the end of the world, any more than those in our own culture, who were convinced the world was going to end in 1988, or again in 2000?
I liked an answer given to a similar question:
"I would be more worried, if I were you, that the calendar hanging on your kitchen wall ends on Dec 31, 2007!"

First you need to ask yourself where this information came from. Then see if you trust that source then realise that even the best scientists can't predict when the earth is gonna end and live your life. Ask yourself if the world were to end in 2012 how would you live your life different most people wouldn't. Be happy and be marry and stop worrying about things out of your control. Just remember to breath in and out.

keep planning your future look back and ask how many more times the earth was to end when i was growing up in my teens it was to end at least twice its still going unless i missed something big.Live each day as it comes, but plan for your future. but at a very very outside chance say a million billion trillion to one what is anyone going to have to worry about anyway.

Don't worry,no ones knows for sure when the world is going to end. Don't let religious frantics scare you. Only God knows the day and time,not mortal men.
