Firstly, I don't usually have problem with my teachers. But I just got switched into this one teacher's class last week and she acts so rude.

She asked us to clear our desks so she could read something to us, and it took me an extra minute to put my stuff up because I am required to keep a large 3-inch binder that I am not use to using.

She had started reading, and when she noticed I was trying to put my notebook in my binder, she stopped reading completely and stared at me. Of course, this made the whole class turn around because they wanted to know what made her stop reading, and they stared at me.

It's not the staring that bothered me, it's how she tries to embarrass me when she knows I'm new.

Her excuse is that I was disrupting the class, but she knows that I wasn't. Nobody even noticed me doing it because of where I sit. And I wasn't even being loud.

Doesn't her stopping to stare at me cause more of a disruption than me quietly putting my notebook away?

yah I hate it when that happens too. but if you think that is bad, try having you dad for a teacher in college. my dad purposly picks on me in class and makes me look and feel stupid in front of my classmates. I know I am no good at math (the subject that he teaches) but I think he is going way to far with some things he does to me in class.

why don't u u tell her to stop looking at ur beautiful face (if it is)or stop staring at me or sm\omething else insulting like that .not too much ofcourse.if u get taken to the principle or someone else tell them u were doing ur best to clear ur desk in time.as for the insult tell that u wanted to settle the matter in class.and there r many things to do if u r brave and have some sense.u could also have told ur teacher when she was looking at u that:whats wrong?

I totally agree, thats like one of my teachers stopped class to tell me and my friend (Who both sit in the back of the class) that we were disturbing class by him passing me a water bottle.

But no one was even facing us when he did it, and everyone else was listening to the teacher until he stopped and yelled at us.

Honestly, I don't know how some people became teachers.

i know but a lot of teachers are like this so you just have to ignore them but next time she stares at you smile sickeningly sweetly and say 'I'm sorry one moment' and it'll drive her crazy but she cant do anything cause your being polite...

Yes, unfortuanately lots of teachers are like this.
I've had similar things happen to me and I've seen this happen to others.
There's nothing you can really do about it, it happens to the best of us.

I've been in similar situations.
Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do but ignore it.

She did it because you disrupted her, not the class. But it is her class and you just have to accept her little quirks.
