I recently posted a question about vampires and I just want to start off by apologizing if anyone misunderstood what I meant...

I am so attracted to the idea of vampires. I dont know if its so but in the movies and how I imagine in books they are these beautiful dark creatures who know just how you lure you in. Humans are always so attracted to them, kinda drunk on their charm.

I feel that way when I think about vampires. I want to meet one and be caught under that spell. I may sound crazy but I really have this desire.

Is there anyone out there that would ever offer that to me?

Hello again.
Your fascination with vampires is flattering. But we vampires prefer our privacy. We know that there are many people out there who desire to meet us. I'm a fledging and already I have humans begging to meet me. I do not mind talking to a few humans. But I myself are too young to claim anyone yet. Sorry to disapoint.

What you are is a hopeless romantic who wants to find someone who knows you so well that they can give you what you want without having to ask you what that is. you seek someone whos stronge, smarter and more passionate than most people, someone unique whos not afraid of anything and who can adapt to any situation and win. Id say if you are a girl, go for a cop, soldier or a preacher. something that might shock the crap out of you? try dating an artist or painter or musician. A great place to pickup that kind of man is a coffee shop or a bookstore. Good luck if you find him, ask him if he has a brother.

It's unusual of a human to offer them-self's to us so strongly, it takes away some of the fun to be honest.
But that does not mean one of my kind won't offer you the "dark gift", as some of the younger of us like to call it, if you are sure of what you ask someone will find you sooner or later.

Do not expect to be found quickly, for you will be forever linked to the one that turns you.

And it won't be me, I've already got to much to worry about without another fresh vampire as well.

You are going by the image of a vampire presented by hollywood. In folklore vampires were not only undead, but rotting as well, and stank pretty bad. Hanging garlic was not for driving the vampire away, but to cut down on the smell of the rotting flesh. Driving the stake through the heart wasn't to kill them, but to keep them pinned in their coffins so they couldn't escape and harm people. Not quite so glamorous, but if you feel up to it, go for it.

not authentically, but you can enjoy the fantasy, and even write a short story or book about it.
=============

you probably should watch the OLD OLD movie, Nosferatu.
so old that i don't think it is a talkie.

Vampires have only recent been portrayed as tall, dark, handsome, and sexy.
