I downloaded this program at the suggestion of someone on this forum. It is taking up 62,672 K of memory, slows my computer and is inefective. It doesn't show in Add/delete, and when I try to remove it by going to c\programs, it says "Cannot delete, access is denied". Can anyone out there, help me with getting this program off my computer.

I used a combination of these answers to delete super anti spyware, thanks to all. I installed this program, when I had a trojan that I just couldn't remove, but it didn't remove it either. I finally used a trial version of AVG-anti spy and it took it out finally. The super anti-spyware took up so much room, and caused a slow boot up of my computer, I just wanted to get rid of it, and since it wasn't in add/delete, I was afraid that I actually downloaded a spy program in itself. It just didn't work for me. Usually Ad-aware would remove most things, but this one, it wouldn't remove either, but AVG did. Thanks everyone, for your help.

PCTools products do get good reviews. The good thing is they have free versions of their products. They work great. Spyware Doctor from the Google pack is a must. I highly recommend it. I bought Webroots Spysweeper and spyware doctor finds stuff spysweeper does not. Having both is a perfect combo and I recommend running two anti-spyware products.

Personally I bought Webroot's Spysweeper, their product is great and well worth the money. Watch Best Buy ads because sometimes it goes on sale for $10 to $15.

It could be that you downloaded the Free Trial software and not the Free version of Superantispyware. I think your trial period has ended and that's why it is not updating and therefore ineffective...
It is possible also that you just downloaded a 'rogue' (illegitimate) program that claims to be a 'SUPER' antispyware. There are many, many poor anti-spyware programs touting 'Names' which are very similar to a very legitimate programs.. like this::
IE Defender --Windows Defender
Which one is the real thing?
The legitimate program is Windows Defender- the other is 'rogue-ware'...

You should load Windows in safe mode by pressing F8. However, Windows cant delete files or a program that are “live”. This means the program or some elements of it are actually running. The program or one its services may be running silently in the background or being shared with another application. To disconnect all applications associated with the program, Press Crtl-Alt-Delete time to pull up the task manager. You will need to disable all the services associated with the program. Here is how:
1. Open your "Start"menu.
2. Click “Run”
3. In the command screen type "msconfig.exe"
4. In the "system configuration utility",click "service"
5. Uncheck all executable(.exe) files associated with the program you want to remove.
6. Click "OK"
Then use add and remove to take out the program. If this doesn't work clean your registry.

Greetings. My name's Sanjay Patel, and I currently hold an honorary Master's degree in the field of Computer Science. I am aware of, and have personal knowledge related to your question. There are computer maintenance businesses which are probably in your area, however they come at the cost of hiring a professional to enter your home. There may also be some local destinations where you can drop off your computer and wait to have a technician look at it. These options can often be costly, and pretty inconvenient. The answer to this question can probably be found doing a little extra research on Google.
A well-running computer can be a hard thing to maintain. From my experience, there is but only One software which is reputable- and consistently reliable for healing sick, slow computers. Reimage™ is a world-renown, easy to use software designed by Forensic scientists and made for the average person. This thing will fix literally just about ANY problem you could possibly be having with your PC. Reimage was recommended to me by a Professor during my 2nd year of Graduate school.

I am a professional developer with Microsoft, and have about 10 years of experience in the field of Computer Engineering. Most problems with PC's are the result of malicious software that infected a Computer. Examples of this are things such as malware, viruses, trojans, spyware, adware, root kits, and worms. In other cases, they are the result of stability issues due to crashes, freezes, or Hardware Issues. Some examples of hardware issues could be a dirty cooling fan causing the computer to overheat, or low memory due to lack of RAM, which could cause the PC to run slowly. You may think it could be a virus, or malware, or registry issues, but it could be something else entirely. As a computer layman, one may find it hard to really ascertain what exactly is causing the problems, without having a professional do an in depth analysis of your PC.
As professional computer repairs can be quite costly, I would recommend to you a Software that many of us in the tech department here at Microsoft use personally and professionally to diagnose and repair computer problems very quickly. It is a software called Reimage, from https://tr.im/ReimageRepair .. In my personal experience, and in the experience of many of my associates, this is probably the best software ever created for those experiencing computer troubles. This is likely to remedy just about ANY problem your computer could possibly be having, and have it running like new. Reimage has won several awards, and been featured in publications such as PC Mag.

Sure.
Go to your task manager and click ctrl alt del
then disable the program and try deleting it then.
Also the easy way is to go to Safe Mode.
Then delete it from C:/Program Files/
Should work then, otherwise get a Add/Remove Programs software from Download.com

I am surprised that SuperAntiSpyware is causing you problems. However, in your notification area (near the clock) you should see a yellow bug. Right click on this and quit. You should now be able to delete.
