The drinking age was 18 here in my state at one time. It seems that a lower drinking age makes it easier for even younger people to get there hands on alcohol as compared to when it is 21. When I was in the US Army at the young age of 18, alcohol was legally sold to those who were 18, 19 and 20. ON base. The policy was beer and wine only no hard stuff. But I could still get any type of alcohol if I wanted to get it. Life seemed a lot better in the Army if I did not use alcohol.

yup i am 6 years past the legal age, but not much of a drinker and do not think i ever will be.

yes--those emotionally unstable strippers I used to work with had me stop at the liquor store on the way to work for them many times
