Owen has a 3in by 5in photo. he wants to make as large as he can to fit in a 10in by 12.5in ad.

3in X 5in fit to 10in X 12.5in

12.5/5 = 2.5
scale is : 1 : 2.5
new size: 7.5in X 12.5in

If you use only one scale factor to size up the photo if you call it x
3*x<=10 and 5*x<= 12.5
The first give you x <= 3.33 anthe 2nd x<=2.5 so you have to use
x= 2.5
and the new photo is 7.5*12.5

if you double it, you can fit a 6 by 10 photo on the page
