2 women who were on the news with the guy with the bowtie, Tucker Carlson, who are researching the candidates genealogy. They said all these people are from some French Protestants who came to the US in the 1600's. I don't think they were all bluebloods, but were escaping religious persecution

I don't understand how Camilla fits in, since she's in England. My family that descended from William Penn was part of his line that stayed in England until the 20th century. I guess because all things relating to history I find fascinating,I forget that not everyone does.

The same is true across all of the world's elite. Barack Obama is 11th cousins with Dubya, a distant cousin to Dick Cheney, who is also Bush's 9th cousin once removed. John Kerry is related to George W. Bush who is related to Princess Di, who is related to Anderson Cooper, Jake Gyllenhaal, Clint Eastwood, George Washington, Kevin Bacon, Mitt Romney, ; they're all related. They're blue-bloods. That's why princes and princesses must marry royalty. They like to keep it in the family, or keep their breed "pure". It provides a lot of fuel for conspiracy theories.

Example: Princess Diana Spencer is a 13th cousin one generation removed from President George W. Bush. Here's how:
John DRYDEN of Canons Ashby is the 13th great grandfather of President George W. BUSH through his daughter Bridget Dryden.
John DRYDEN of Canons Ashby is also the 12th great grandfather of Diana SPENCER through his son Erasmus Dryden.

So I guess she shouldn't be hooking up with Barack Obama since he's distant cousins to Brad Pitt. How weird would THAT be at the family reunion?? lol
