Orignal. Thats about everything positive I can say. Think about it. Diesal? Like the gas....? And Poppy like poppy seeds? or the flower?

Diesal is not bad, not real sure about the poppy-lee, but as many different name there are nowadays, I don't think they will get bullied. Heck the bully probably has a different name too. Just decide what's right for u.

I like diesal james... but not poppy-lee.

As far as the bully thing, you could name a child John or Jane and they still have just as much of a chance to get bullied. Their names don't play into it that much.

Not Diesel, that's for sure lol. It sounds cool in theory, but really, do you want to name your kid after gasoline? There's way too much teasing potential in that. James is great though - very masculine and absolutely timeless. What about Damian James or James Damian instead? You could also use JD as the nickname. Other names could be Julius Damian, Nolan, Nathan James, Samson, Rafael/Raphael, Matteo, Theo James, Olivier, etc.

Poppy is absolutely adorable though! Lee is really cute too - and I know I usually hate 'filler' middle names like Marie and Rose, but I actually think Poppy-Marie would be cute too. Poppy-Lee is great, but said really fast it sounds like 'poppily' which isn't even a real word but sounds a little strange. Maybe just Poppy Lee instead, no hyphenation? Or Poppy Leia or something? Other flower names I love that are a little different are Dahlia (Dahlia Marie would be cute), Violet (okay, not that unusual, but I love it! Violet Poppy would be awesome.), Linnea (pronounced Linn-nay-ah), Fern, Jessamine (means Jasmine), Rosalie, Laurel, etc.

Good luck and congrats on the baby!

They are not for me.....too different, maybe try switching the names around James Diesal or Lee Poppy?

Um, I would really think twice about those names-or maybe thrice. First off, naming your child Diesel is just a bad idea. And as for Poppy-Lee, it is cute, if notstrange, but the only teasing name I can think of would be Poppy from Avi's book, and thats not all that bad at all. So, I say hells no to Diesel, and why not to Poppy-Lee.

I don't want to be rude, but I don't like Poppy-Lee. It sounds cartoonish. I do like Diesal though. It's a strange name, but very masculine.
