He's a masterpiece in and of himself.

But as for his albums, I consider "The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan" to be his masterpiece. The album flows together beautifully, and the it changed American music forever. Though all the songs are about change in the turbulent 60's, they all still hold true today, most significantly "Masters of War". The most beautiful song on the album is "A Hard Rain's A' Gonna Fall". There is no other song like it.

This album changed my life, and I think it does for anyone who listens to it.

Everything he does is a masterpiece.... my personal favorite is The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan, but Highway 61 Revisited, Blood on the Tracks.... all masterpieces.

Is there anything short of a GREAT song on Desire? And NASHVILLE SKYLINE! Come on!! For me, that's a masterpiece. Blonde on Blonde too. Time Out of Mind is short of a masterpiece perhaps, but a damn good listen. The guy spins gold like a loom.
