Based on the responses that I read from RP supporters, I don't think that they really care who is running this country. I think they just want to make a lot of noise. It is however very troublesome to those of us who do care.
For instance they say they won't vote if he is not nominated.
One of your respondents said he didn't care if it was a Dem or Repub.
Many say it will be the first time the will vote.
The list goes on and on.
Thanks for the excellent question.

Who cares if we get a Republican or a Democrat - there is no difference - the Republicans have thrown this countrys foreign policy, domestic debt, civil liberties under the bus - - The Democratically controlled Congress has ratified all the screwball Republican policies & want to go perhaps farther to the left socially and let all the Mexicans in for nothing - all on the backs of the middle class hard working americans. And Yet - both parties are allowing multinational corporations to sell out our birth right to have a job in this country. The birth right that was paid for with the blood, sweat and tears of Americans. What are we celebrating this veterans day? Dead soldiers or their causes ? Liberman has already defected. What are Ron Pauls chances you say ? - VOTE RON PAUL - THE ONLY CHOICE

Ron Paul is the only hope the GOP has of not losing the white house to a backlash democratic election. I'd reluctantly switch parties and vote democrat if I have to before voting for any of the republican candidates, especially Rudy.
Rudy is not a republican and Hillary is not a democrat. they're the worst of their parties. Ron Paul is going to become a force, because this time around WE the American people are going to decide who the "front runners" are, not polls and not the mainstream media. This one will be the people's election.

I am a Ron Paul supporter, and I will vote the Clinton or Obama ticket before I cast a vote for Giuliani, I rather stab my own eyeballs out. Giuliani is the worst president candidate ever, and I am a Republican, but I would rather have Hillary Clinton. Me and countless others

There is no big difference between one republocrat and another except for Ron Paul.
Clinton: Pro-war, pro-tax, pro-abortion, pro-deficit, anti-freedom
Giuliani: Pro-war, pro-tax, pro-abortion, pro-deficit, anti-freedom
Paul: Anti-war, anti-tax, anti-abortion, anti-deficit, pro-freedom.
If Paul doesn't get the nomination, why should anyone care which republocrat gets elected? Either way you still lose your freedoms and drive the country into the ground for the benefit of a few politically connected individuals.

Yes, and the war. Historically, when there is a war during an election, the other party gets the presidential seat. I will vote for Ron Paul in the primaries and if he doesn't get it, I'll vote for another leader that I support, not just a republican to keep Hilary out. I'll vote for the Libertarian candidate. One day others will do this too. Some Ron Paul supporters will do the same if Paul doesn't get the Republican ticket while some will support the Republican candidate. I don't believe in voting for a candidate in order to keep some one else out, if only every one believed this, we'd get out of the tight bounds of the bipartisan system.

There are so few Paul Bearers, they are a non-factor.
Look to other years when Rep Paul ran as a Libertarian.

I'm supporting the Libertarian candidate. I'll be glad if Clinton wins, then the Republican Party will have to re-evaluate their foundings and what they were originally suppose to be about. They should read about Jefferson, Reagan, etc...
