After Saturday nights SEVEN TD performance by Tim Tebow, how can anybody make a legitimate argument for anybody else to win the Heisman ? Sure Dixon is amazing, but just compare his stats to Tebows. If there werent dropped balls by receivers, #15 would have TEN td's on the night. Who are your top three Heisman candidates?

tebow is in the top 2 in everyones mind that counts...but as for this guy above me..u are ignorant if u really think they would be the same without tebow....he takes over games and wins...florida would of never won against ole miss this year without him..he just took the game over and did what he had too....against georgia he couldnt be his self because of bruised shoulder n look what happened...he is by far the best player in the nation.

Tebow is not even in the top 5 of my Heisman list. He is a function of a system. Why was he playing that late in the game to be able to throw 7 TDs? Most teams with any class would have pulled him at halftime or first drive of the second half.
Really tough TDs, rush from less than 5 yds 4 times??? Most teams would give those to a RB. Maybe it is because they have no other running option.
Heisman should equal MVP for that team... you pull Tebow off and Florida still wins the same amount of games.
If you pulled these guys from their teams, they would be nothing:
Dixon, Brennan, Ryan, White and McFadden much more deserving than Tebow. I am sure there are several others beyond that. forgot one more in the SEC that is better than Tebow, Woodson. Take him out and Kentucky has 3 wins.
Ole Miss??? LOL, I should hope Florida could beat Ole Miss with a 3rd string QB. If Tebow wins the Heisman, it should be changed to Hypeman award.

I run the prospect of having tequila fortunate call me an ESPN parrot, yet oh nicely i'm effective i will locate the ability to maintain on with my existence. Tebow is a great QB, on the beginning up of the season human beings mentioned he could no longer throw and he responds by utilising being between the international locations leaders in bypass performance. i will take 17 TD's and 3 alternatives any day alongside with 10 extra rushing TD's. i think of Tebow is greatest the Heisman race at this 2d by utilising default, the electorate are loss of existence for an upperclassman to step forward and take their votes yet no person seems to need it. I do think of although that if Woodson wins out he could be the greatest candidate on the top of the season which does no longer be a bad element...however i could like to work out Tebow win it, being a Gator fan, and with all the different wild issues that have long gone in this season a sophomore prevailing the Heisman isn't as a techniques fetched because it would desire to have been on the beginning up of the season.

1. Dennis Dixon (assuming Oregon doesn't stumble)
2. Pat White (again, assuming W.Va. doesn't stumble)
3. Tim Tebow (awesome, but only a sophomore)

I so badly wanted to say Darren McFadden, but after yesterday at Tennessee I just don't think he'll have the votes. Too bad, what an amazing talent.

Dennis Dixon-Oregon
Darren McFadden-Arkansas
Todd Reesing-Kansas

Tebow has been very impressive, but no way they're going to remotely consider giving the Heisman to a freshman.

Dennis Dixon
Darren McFadden
Tim Tebow

As much as I love Dixon, I think you have to give it to McFadden based on what he's doing this year.
