Only 18.
Call back when you are early 20's.
Someone who is 18, no matter what the job, will be able to find another easily.. Fact is depending on what you were doing....
Besides at 18, why not go to college.
In most cases going to college will increase your earning capability tremendously.
In my case, I pay college grads twice what I pay non-college (even when including experience).
Plus even with experience I will never have a noncollege grad in mgmt possitions unless they are a #1 performer and even then it will become a requirement.

Depending on how long you've worked you may qualify for unemployment. The best way to know is to go to your local unemployment office. Expect to spend the day there, it's usually an all day thing. You'll fill out some papers and then they will let you know if you qualify or not. I personally wouldn't depend on it, so I would suggest looking for another job as quickly as possible.

You need to go to the Unemployment Department in your state. Did they give a "pink slip" or a letter stating that you were laid off through no fault of your own? If not, you need to contact the human resource department of Volt and ask them to send you something stating that you were laid off. They should be helpful to you since it was their decision to lay everyone off.
Getting laid off, you are eligible for unemployment benefits although you weren't working for very long so don't know how long or how much you can get. Don't be surprised if it isn't very much.
Good luck, Hope things work out for you!

I believe it is best for you to look for another job than seeking paid for unemployment. You are only 18....why no motivation at all? Don't be like that and just want free money. Get a job and try to work you way up...you got lots of opportunities and time to do it.

Each county has an unemployment office and will tell you what needs to be done to collect uncemployment and let you know if you are eligable.
If you are looking for additional income and willing to learn to invest in real estate let me know.

I believe you have to work 120 at a place before you can collect unemployment.

Check your state's website. You can apply for unemployment, but it's pretty unlikely it will be approved if you only worked for two months, unless you had another job before that one.

depends on how long you worked and whether or not you are a full timer. also different countries have different age limites.
listen you've got yourself some experience and you were not fired or anything negative so go and look for another job, i dont think you would find problems finding a new one.
GOOD LUCK!
