the yankees and their fans need to wake up and see that their team is falling apart, and the red sox are blowing up with homegrown talent. and to that dumb girl who was talking about torre coverage and a-rod coverage, for one torre manages the dodgers now (horrible NYY management decision. one of the best managers ever) not his fault really the players dont play well together......thats dodgers press. and like you guys even appreciate a-rod, hes one of the best players the game has ever seen and yankees fans boo him constantly, (i mean he is an arrogant prick) but hes really good at baseball which is his job, not to mention again that a-rod will most likely be leaving the yankees so again not 100% yankees press. Not only that, what the helll are they gonna cover about that WS? It was pathetic it was just an absolute blowout. What are they gonna talk about? all of the hype behind that "Unbelievable" rockies team that had no chance against the epic force of the 2007 red sox. it'll feel just as good next year when we do it again. Oh ya start looking for a replacement for joge and mariano, and the jobba the hut to lose some wieght. does everyone in that organisation have a big mouth accept derek jeter? George Steinbrenner smokes boners dipped in hot sauce.

GO SOX!
OH ya, 4 words JOSH BECKETT=CY YOUNG

They're not, America's most loved baseball team changes from year to year and even during the season. Everyone roots for the underdogs so it would have been the Brewers at the beginning of the year and the Rockies during the playoffs. The Yankees still seem to get more media exposure not because everyone loves them but because everyone cares. The yankees are loved by a small minority of baseball fans and are hated by a large majority and I think the red sox are starting to take some of this role.

Actually, you're 100% right about that. The RED SOX have eclipsed the YANKEES as the biggest baseball draw in the United States. There was a huge article about it in the USA TODAY back in July/August. Based on the numbers that the RED SOX draw and the amount or revenue generated when the RED SOX come to a city plus the Merch they sell they have become the biggest draw in the Sport.
USA TODAY proclaimed them: AMERICA'S TEAM.
Just another thing the Yankees don't have...like a WR ring in this century..or a catcher or a closer!!!!
You can look it up on their (USA TODAY) website here's the link!

Yeah, I think you are mistaken. You must be stuck in your preppy white world, because that's the only place the Red Sox are the most loved!
Did you notice how much coverage was made about the Sox winning the series and how much coverage Joe Torre and A-Rod got!
It was hilarious. It's like "Top Stories: Joe Torre and A-rod" "Afterthought: Red Sox win, or whatever."
Haha. Good job to them and everything, but no, Yankees are America's team and always will be.

Everybody likes there hometown(for me its the phillies) and either the Red Sox(for me its the Red Sox) or the Yankees. When I was younger the Yankees keep winning every World Series, so I picked to like the Red Sox.

Since when were the Red Sox the most loved? Yankees have outsold the Red Sox on merchandise and ticket sales since the beginning of time. Get a clue moron.

Idiot.

People have begun to hate the Red Sox almost as much as they do the Yankees, and it's not because of Manny or David Ortiz (though Schilling pisses a lot of people off), it's because you guys have gotten even more annoying and arrogant than Yank fans. Which is no easy feat.

Red Sox fans most loved in the USA? You should be a comedian. The Red Sox are not the most loved team in the USA. Maybe someone put something in your clam chowder. You have proved how annoying you are with the retarded question that you asked.

Boston had the highest average per-game attendance ON THE ROAD during the 2007 season. Here, look: http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/attendance?sort=away_avg&year=2007&seasonType=2

Part of that is innate Red Sox popularity nationwide, part is people like seeing a winner in general. I'm not going to read any more into it than that, and there's other ways to sort the data. But there it is, irrefutable: highest average road attendance. Fans wanna see 'em.

Who told you that they are the most loved team in all of the USA??

Now, if anything, they're tied with the Yankees for most hated team.
