If you have a real U.S Flowing Hair 1794-1795 or Bust dollar 1795-1804. It may pay to find out what variety it is before putting it up for auction. If it is a rare variety you may not get full value. Most Old U.S. dollars of the types I listed above have been graded and authenticated and are in a slab from a major grading service unless damaged. I would make sure it is not a counterfeit before you get into trouble. If the coin is a real rarity an auction firm like Stacks or Heritage is best.
