how to open communication after 12yrs of marrige?

married 12yrs, we dont know how to communicate how do i begin? hes ready to throw in the towel, i want to start over and renew our relationship.

Request him to accompany you for a walk around a park, see how beautiful the scenery is, observe birds etc and perhaps I may start this one for you. look at that bird, I remember when I was young, i love to sit by the window and watch those bird behind the garden, and something funny with those birds is the they always fly in twos. Does it mean its a husband and wife enjoying each other? How do bird know more about loving one another than human being? but you know even us we are just like those birds because we are to of us. I remember when you first approached me I was very much shocked, shy etc and when you did say this and that , You really got me off guard, what were you thinking of me back then.? Its 12year and I really thank God for those years being together, i greatly appreciate all you have done to me, I know sometime I got off track but you love was so much special to me that motivated me and I wish we can renew out love and start a fresh etc

It may be too late. Offer to go to counseling with a huge apology for waiting so long to learn to open the hearts doors.

If he says no .. look in the mirror and make sure you never allwow this kind of problem to ever again take over your life.

If there is no communication go to counseling, right now.. If hes not willing to go therein lies your answer. It is funny that men think they are the only ones who get bored in marriage. But men think they rule the world and are above scrutiny by anyone.

Try some new things. Try to do thinks you've never done before. If you think its hard now wait till you have been married 21 years. tell him anyone can divorce but it takes alot to keep it together. Is he man enough to at least try?
