When you get all grown up and boring and prejudiced and stupid and conform to society that says that adults are like that.
In other words, screw that train of thought and be yourself.

your'e 16 eh??
usually thats a little old to be romanticizing about marrying hot stars...
its not that posters are childish at all... its the content of the poster
at 16 i would expect less of the hot boy idoling posters, and more band posters or pretty black and white photos or something
but who cares... its your room if you like it then keep it... everyone has there own style and theres no reason to hurry the growing up process... stay young as long as possible
its great being a teen

Any age and it also depends on what is on the posters!! Some posters are really interesting and later on in life, they may be worth a lot of MONEY!!

If you really like your posters then i wouldn't take them down. I always took down my posters when ever i wanted my room to look a little different.

I only have posters of bands, and album plaques...but they're not in my bedroom. I have a home studio (recording studio) and that's where all that stuff is. I couldn't bring myself to packing it away in the attic or garage. By the way I'm 21.

I kept posters throughout high school and college. The dorms are so stark that you have to have something on the walls to brighten the place up :).
Now, in my mid-20s, I have framed my favorite posters so that they are more like artwork.

Leave them up at home until you get tired of them. You will know when it's time. When you begin college, you'll be starting a new chapter of your life and will have new interests. Start fresh.
