Hey Hollywood. We don’t hate America as much as you do. Want to make some money? Make a movie where terrorists are the bad guys for a change and our men and women in the military aren't portrayed as murderous thugs.

I fail to see what you are talking about. Is it a bad thing that movies portray real life? As much as you don't want to hear it, US soldiers aren't perfect...There are movies where the US is the bad guy and the US is the good guy. For every example where the US are portrayed poorly, I'll find two examples where they aren't...Put some more details and examples when you ask a question like this...

Obviously you have never fought in a war. It doesn't matter who you are, bad things always happen in war because in war their aren't any laws. It's survival of the fittest & that often means that very bad things will happen, but that isn't really the fault of the soldiers because they are suppose to be social workers they are suppose to be killers of the enemy but sometimes innocent people get in the way. Hollywood is only giving you the brutally honest truth about war which sometimes makes US soldiers look bad but it's just the truth about what really happens.

lol that's actual humorous! i became taking a youth progression type at college years in the past, and between the flaws it particularly mentions is to "in no way tell the youngster 'wait till your father/mom gets living house." while the instructor asked us if it ever befell in our properties, the girl next to me mentioned her mom have been doing it for years, yet her dad hasn't come living house yet. we don't try this in the time of our living house nevertheless. My son thinks the two me and Mr Dawna are the two evil.

I guess some people above never heard of Rules of Engagement. Also, Hollywood has been leftist for close to 70 years. Nothing new.

Really?

Now that I think of it, soldiers are the bad guys in every movie they appear in!!! (sarcasm).....

Give me a break, if anything, Hollywood romanticizes the military and glorifies them, so your point is moot.

I think your question assumes a fact not in evidence. It is what any good propaganda machine will do to cover their own misuse of the media.

Watch the "Thin Red Line" for what may be a more realistic account of war. Let's not glorify something that is very bad.

How? The Hollywood movies tend to be FOR U.S. troops.

You're right.

Those awful movies like We were Soldiers, Band of Brothers, and Saving Private Ryan, really portrayed our troops in a negative light.

Heavy sarcasm, BTW.

I don't think the movie Jarhead portrayed soldiers negatively.
