Bimodal is a term that can be used in the subject called Statistics. A data population often has only one mean, median, and mode, but it can have two of any or all of these. When plotted a bimodal distribution has two humps. Each hump indicate the location of one mode.

Here is an idea of mode: Consider 1,1,2,2,2,2,2,3,5,7,20 The mode for this data is 2. 2 is the number appearing with the highest frequency.
