Because that is how we were raised. We were brought up to be nice, even if we feel bad, we were brought up to smile no matter what, and most importantly we were brought up to be kind to strangers visiting from other countries, as there are things that go one here that might not elsewhere.
I hope that you had a very nice time on the Gulf Coast of the United States, and despite the debris remaining, hope to come back and see us!

They have been brought up in a loving and caring way. I think the 'seaside' can have a very positive effect on people too.
It is 'put on' for the tourists, they are a caring, sharing community.

three words: good home training. i should know, some of my family was raised there and i have many friends who also stay down there. plus, the atmosphere is amazing and it is just happy there.
