Answer as much questions as you can and put a lot of thought into the answers that way you might get voted best answer and get 10 points. I have been doing this for a few weeks and I am on level 2.

Answer questions and get 2 points, if you have the best answer, you get 10 points. It can take awhile to reach 1,000 points, not so hard to get 250 points. You get more use of Yahoo Answers depending on the level you earn.

You have to answer questions and hope to get picked as best answer. You get 2 points for answering and 10 for best answer. You lose points for asking questions.
On your answers profile page, you will find how many points you need to get to the next level.

the more u answer o/ peoples ?'s the more you get points and every level has an amount of points u need to get to move on. Also if u ask a ? you lose a couple points

Earn more points, and don't ask question. For every question you ask, 5 points will be deducted from your current. You need 250 points to be a level 2.

Answer questions and don't ask as much and then vote for question that don't have a best answer. This should be one of the first things the yahoo commnity should show without you going to great lengths to look it up.
