many people will tell you to 'be positive' or 'be yourself'. While that is all good and well, it is not enough.

You need to carve a place for yourself in this world.

For instance, I got a college degree in something I was interested in, worked in the field for a few years, and found a rare opportunity to teach the subject to others. I love teaching this stuff, and I'm one of two people who do it full time in the country.
I also discovered a love for dancing, and because I'm on the road teaching so much, I get to go to major dance events around the nation.

Thats just some of the ways I've created a life which I like for myself. The losers tend to be people who don't have ambition and who sit around dreaming vaguely about about being better or having more.

Also, don't get confused and think that losers = people who don't make lots of money and winners = people who make lots of money. I know and work with people who make tons of money but cant find happiness. They drive fancy cars and have big houses but haven't really found what makes them happy.

So, keep your eyes open, notice what makes you happy, notice what your good at. Keep moving forward don't let lazinesses get the better of you. At the same time, don't wear yourself out, if you are striving for something but it is painful to get there, ask yourself if it will be more fun once you get there or will it just be more of the same painful/boring stuff. I'm sure many people suffer through years of med school only to discover that they would have been more fulfilled as a park ranger.

Being the winner is not always the most important thing in life. Most of the time it is how you participate that shows your character more than anything.
Being a loser or winner is pretty relative to the situation and the perception of others involved.
It is nice to win but more gratifying knowing you gave it your all. Not everyone can win...

A winner is the one who really works hard in this stupid life ^_^

And the loser is the one who tries to be a winner by cheating and not working hard

A Winner makes things happen. A loser waits for things to happen

To be a winner: don't be afraid to make mistakes and if you do make them, learn from them. Do not avoid everything that scares you, but bit by bit have a go. Finish things you start. Surround yourself with positive people and people who like you. Find things you really enjoy and can be good at and make your job out of them. Be creative and flexible, whatever you do.

well first things first, go to university or college and strive for the top, allways say to yourself you can get more out of live then you already have... tell yourself that in order to be happy in life you need to be able to stand on your own two feet, therefore you need to learn how to budget your money, start a saveing account and watch your life grow to the top

Have confidence in your abilities. Be proud of who you are. And look for the joys in life rather than the negative ones.
