Ok... no disrespect to any fans of her, but I'm having a lil trouble understanding why everyone thinks she's one of the best female wrestlers in there now. All she does is pull hair, and scream and do 2 submission moves, can someone please show me a youtube video or something that showcases what you guys are talkin about?

When people rank her with some of the best and say she can wrestle, I don't understand it. Sometimes I can;t understand what makes Mickie James so great, either. Nonetheless, people say Melina is good, when in truth she's not.

Melina is improving, just like Candice Michelle, but she is still not that good. I think her fans overrate her and some people just like her because she has a good gimmick (a Hollywood poser) and is a heel. Being a former champion doesn't make her a skilled wrestler (i.e. Hulk Hogan), and her screaming does annoy me.

Once again, with these female wrestling questions, I've NEVER heard anyone call Melina the best female wrestlers of today. She's a decent female wrestler, and knocks the pants off of a majority of WWE's divas, but there are still a lot of better wrestlers than her out there, 4 of which are actually ON the WWE roster.

First of all, I'd put Mickie James over as one of the best female wrestlers out there today, WWE just doesn't use or utilize her that much.

Next, we have Victoria, one of the worst handled divas out there. Victoria could've went so far with the psycho gimmick, and could've went over big, considering her wrestling is superior to some of the men in the WWE's main event scene. She could've been the female equivilant of Crowbar.

Then we have the criminally used Jillian Hall, someone I've seen wrestle outside of WWE and was astounded at how good she actually was. She wasn't anything TOO special, but her basic mat skills surpass Melinas.

And then we have Beth Phoenix, a fairly talented powerhouse with great push. I hope she doesn't lose steam

Even in OVW right now there's Nattie Neidhart, a great wrestler and a successor to the Hart family legacy.

Don't even get me started with some of the Knockouts on TNA's side of the fence, Gail Kim may be THE most technically gifted female wrestler in north america, and Amazing/Awesome Kong's sitout powerbomb puts Batista to shame. Don't even get me started on Nikki Roxx.

There are a lot of better female wrestlers than Melina.

1. Doing submission moves the way she does them is talent. Not every wrestler wrestles the same. Many males wrestlers have made their career on being submission wrestlers.

2. Her finisher is pretty sweet. Its like a reverse DDT, but she uses her leg to add a leg drop to it.

3. There are only 3 to 4 other divas that can carry on a good match in WWE. Beth, Victoria, Mickie James, and maybe Candice.

This Backlash match shows her submission skills. The finisher came later on.

Sadly I'm really not into the female wrestlers ever since Trish and Lita left. They were the two best there, Trish more so then Lita in the last 4 years because Lita's performance just went way down after she came back from her injury.

No proof of what she can do. But she has many more moves than she uses in the wwe. Sometimes and I have no idea why the wwe doesn't want wrestlers to use all of their moves. I guess if she did more people would cheer for her ad they want her to be a heel. Kind of the same thing with Mr. kennedy. He has some awesome moves, much more than he uses but fans would like those moves so they don't let him use them.

I have to say I love The Prophet of Unkayfabe: Candle 's answer. She has talent but I wouldn't say she was the best. She has the potential. With more practice she could be up there though.

using two submisson moves sound better then the other divas besides when she does her hair pulling is usually done to do a face crusher so it's all good
