This is the question.
What would have the greatest impact on wildlife living in a farm community?
Pick an option:
A)the farmer who shot all of the deer and rabbits who lived in surrounding area.
B)the farmer who cut down the forest habitat and plowed up the land to have a larger farm.

I said that A has the greatest impact. Then it asks for the reason, which I answered. Then it asks for two ideas which support my opinion.

There's not supposed to be a right or wrong answer, it's just, I don't understand what the 2 idea part is about. My question is: What are ideas.

I don't want anyone to answer the question for me, I just want someone to tell me what and idea is. Like a key word for me to answer it.

I think they anticipate your reason being very brief then when they ask for ideas, they want the reasons for your reason.

For example, you could say that A is worse and your reason is that B would not eliminate all deer, rabbits, and dependent species. Then one of your ideas could be that in Iowa, where there vast areas have been plowed and farmed there is an abundance of rabbits and more deer than there were before the first farm was built in Iowa.

Cutting down the forest habitat and plowing up the land would have the greater impact. Nature is capable of healing itself as long as human activities would allow it to. If the habitat is not drastically altered, there is a good chance that other animals (possibly including deer and rabbit) from other places would migrate to the same area previously occupied by the deer and rabbit shot by the farmer.
