Many, if not most, in P&S consider it a place to have fun, so I assume they felt, as did I, your question was to be taken in a humorous vein and answered in like kind.
When I see a serious question, I endevor to do my best to answer it seriously.

People will give you stupid answers to legitimate questions, but they will also give silly answers to silly questions.
Your original question was (paraphrasing) where does the yellow brick road go? The problem is that no one knew whether you were asking about the Yellow Brick Road in the Wizard of Oz, in Elton John's song, or in any of the other books, movies or songs that use this name or whether you were asking a metaphorical question. I still do not know which question you were asking, which is why you did not get a good answer.
Moral of the answer: Ask a good, clear and serious question and you will get at least some good, clear and serious answers.

That's a good q. I find it difficult to keep up with the questions because they come at you so fast sometimes. So, I try to pick the ones I know I can do the most good with. I did answer your yellow brick road q and starred it and this one. I think your q's are so good I added you to my network so I can see more of them. I always try to answer my contacts q's first before I go to categories. My network is people like you who I think have good input and/or are entertaining. You're definitely doing a great job so don't get discouraged. o.k.

I've noticed that. It seems many people don't read the details listed after the question.
And, of course, if someone answers a question succinctly, then people complain about that as well.
