I want to ask my friend to do me a favor by helping me move. The problem is, my friend just got back from a long trip and he also has to work today. I haven't asked him yet, but I would assume he would be tired to help me. I feel very bad asking him. But he's the only one who has a truck and I don't know anyone else. What's the best solution here?

can you afford to rent a moving truck and try moving
yourself and possibly get someone to help you move
and pay them a modest amount of money?
if so go that route.
asking someone for a favor when they are tired is not a good idea.

asking people for favors when they're tired will just irritate them and overall affect the relationship badly. Try offering something to him or something to lure him in good favors.

If your friend is over forty maybe he might need the rest, But he might have friends, just ask him..You never know until you ask.remember, One good turn thing, see what you may do for him in the near future.John

It's probably best to wait til he's had time recover from the trip. That way he won't mind doing it so much.
