A high-level diplomatic source in Tehran tells Asia Times Online that essentially Putin and the Supreme Leader have agreed on a plan to nullify the George W Bush administration's relentless drive towards launching a preemptive attack, perhaps a tactical nuclear
strike, against Iran. An American attack on Iran will be viewed by Moscow as an attack on Russia.

Putin's statement at a Victory Day parade on Red Square on Wednesday was artfully phrased to be both blunt and vague — but political observers have little doubt he was criticizing the United States for "disrespect for human life, claims to global exclusiveness and dictate, just as it was in the time of the Third Reich."

Russia is resuming a Soviet-era practice of sending its bomber aircraft on long-range flights, President Vladimir Putin has said.
Mr Putin said the move to resume the flights permanently after a 15-year suspension was in response to security threats posed by other military powers.

He said 14 bombers had taken off from Russian airfields early on Friday.

The move came a week after Russian bombers flew within a few hundred miles of the US Pacific island of Guam.

Usually it takes a week, maybe two. But no one seems to want to identify that the President of Iran is actually third in command.
Ayatollah Khamenei last I read was against WW3 and gave Putin a rare audience. I will read this, thank you. I use this as a normal source. Amazing is it not? Condi Rice was on ABC This Week speaking about Pakistan , Iran and more.

Putin. I do not know how to believe anything he is up to. Georgia went into a State of Emergency. Weeks ago he was found flying over Norway invading their airspace. Norway is offering Europe fuel away from oppression of these volatile leaders. I hear Russia needs fuel. She's spending millions on NaNo research for alternate energy sources... wants in on the Trans Caspian Oil Pipeline with Iran? Has been helping the build nuk facilities. Germany is in a knot over his manuveurs...

Smoke perhaps. Putin is busy removing democracy and setting up a puppet government in my research it appears. Iran is not in a position to fight the US. Just taunt us.

Our news sources are more subject to big business concerns and politics behind the scenes. More than exposing the truth. But some like Brian Ross and others get out bit's n pieces. Thanks for the good research !

The media won't report it here because even the liberal left recognizes the lunacy of it all. I know, I know, that's a hard one to swallow.
You have to understand that Putin is a strong nationalist. He does what he believes is right for Russia regardless of what the rest of the world may think. He is still unhappy that like the French and the Germans, his Russia was called out for it's bribery scandal and sudden loss of funds in the Oil for Food program in Iraq.
Enter Iran. Who do you suppose was building a nuclear facility in Iran? Surely the Iranians haven't yet figured out how to do it for themselves. They hired and purchased a Russian design. Iran is very anti western. It would not do well for the contracted to bite the hand that feeds them.

It's all the liberal media's fault. If liberals were truly in control of the media these stories would be plastered all over the place. The reality, the media is controlled by six giants and they decide what prominence these stories have, if any.

The son of a CIA man thinking he could read the soul of a KGB man was a big mistake. Proving nobody is perfect.

Both. Most people should know our media does not tell us what we should hear, they tell us what they want us to hear after, influenced by power and $$. America is in a true crises.
