Almost any musical, because I really, really hate musicals.

It's like they take an already appallingly terrible film, then try to liven it up by adding cheesy, witless, incongruous songs at random moments.

If I had to pick one particularly awful example of this vile genre I would probably go for West Side Story.

We were shown this obscenity in a music lesson at school as a kind of end-of-term 'treat', but it was more like some sort of spiritual and intellectual torture. I've never been so soul-sappingly bored in my entire life.

Picking a non-musical worst movie ever is rather more difficult, because there are a lot which are so bad they're actually quite enjoyable, just for all the wrong reasons.

So, a genuine turkey... Wild Wild West, perhaps? WIll Smith ought to be ashamed of himself. Or how about Junior, with Schwarzenegger as a pregnant man? God help us.

It has to be the all singing all dancing remake of Hairspray.Pass the sickbag.(I never saw the origional)A cheezy all American take on the triumph of good over evil.A film about a fat girl that compares the prejudice she encountered with the Racism that black people experienced in the 60's.Sorry but there is NO comparison and it was an utterly revolting and insensitive movie that had me gasping(very loudly)in shock throughout the whole movie.I wished I'd never seen it to be honest.

Anything that's 80's/90's, usually American, aimed at children between 7 and 13 and relies on toilet humour. For example, Daddy Day Care. Little Man. Oh, there are hundreds out there.

The Blair Witch Project
The Village
Open Water

I've come to the conclusion that if you watch all three in a row you'll want to kill yourself so you are no longer exposed to the sheer crappiness of it all.
