Is there a law that says that it is illegal to spray or use perfume in a med office?

There is a law if a person with a disability that is Chemically Sensitive to items you mention, It's called the Americans With Disabilities Act. It has to be certified by a physician, they can't just say they are allergic to it, they may not like the scent of another individuals cologne/perfume. If an employer or Rental apartment is notified in Writing that a person is allegic to chemicals and paint, pesticides they cannot discriminate against them, fire them, harrass them or evict them if after being notified of the life threatening health condition. It is not their imagination or made up. they have to accomodate them and give notice they are going to use them, make arrangements for other accomodations or give them the day off until the contaminants can clear the air.

The office can say that at a doctor's office If they have Known chemically sensitive Patients coming into the office they Know have Multiple Chemical Sensitivies and can become violently ill.

It is not a law. It is common sense. Many people react badly or are allegic to certain fragrances. Can you imagine 5 people all wearing different fragrances in a small office area?
