I recall when I was younger & men started wearing earrings whether you wore an earring in one ear or both was constituted as a 'gay' signal or not. I've just returned from Europe & was told while in the UK that is still the case, but I hadn't noticed or been aware of such in the US, so I'm curious what the current "rules" or "signals" are if any?

Its died down a bunch, and even though I'm only 15 its one of the first things I look for when I meet a guy I find attractive. I know for sure what the sides mean, and I'm guessing what two mean. Left side-straight, right side-gay, both sides-bi. Its like that with everything. Anything a guy wears that turns to the right can mean he's gay, though the earrings are the ones that always mean that, on guys. Wonder why all girls get both pierced...?

that is really in the past now, many guys have earings, even the straight ones. I guess people finally realized that what you wear doesn't affect your orientation, its just an expression of individuality

nicely, i think of he likes you yet he won't be waiting yet to have a dating. My suggestion, get exhilaration from one yet another's company for now. If he relatively likes you, he will make the pass and likewise attempt it sometime to no longer text cloth or call him, see if he makes his pass.

there are no rules. i have seen many gays without earings, and some of my straight friends have earrings. just ignore the signals or rules. all gays are different just like all straights are different.
