first week of february, we go every year, we have never stood in a line, as a matter of fact sometimes they let us stay onthe ride cause there is no lines, we ride everything at least 3 times, we got a 3 day park hopper and rode everything, and most things 3 times or more, the haunted mansion was closed though. it was 70 degrees all day and has never rained we have gone the last 3 years.

Traditionally, the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas is the least busy time of year (Disneyland employees verify this fact). Many folks have to budget their money for the upcoming Christmas holiday, so cash is short and a Disney trip is not possible. The park is beautifully decorated during this time. My two small boys absolutely LOVE going right before Christmas. The park never looks better. They also have a "snowfall" just before closing (it's soap bubbles). Please try to visit the park during the Christmas season at least once. You'll see what I mean!

The lowest attendance times are from the week after Thanksgiving (starting the Monday after) until about a week before Christmas (depending on when Christmas falls). Also from about Jan. 3 to the first week or so of March it is slow. And from mid April until mid May (end of spring break to start of summer vacation) .Unfortunately, during the Jan-Mar time, a lot of rides are closed for revamping. From Thanksgiving to Christmas, you get the Christmas decorations, all the rides are usually open, and there are not a lot of people. Also, the weather is beautiful during the day, and just require a jacket & pants in the evening. We have also gone in October and found it to not be too crowded, except at night when everyone comes to ride the Haunted House (decked out in The Nightmare Before Christmas) But if you stay away from that area at night, the rest of the park is not busy. Worst time is Thanksgiving weekend (often reaches capacity by 10:00 am), from Christmas to New Years, Spring Break, and mid May to Mid August (unless it is really hot, then people avoid it).

I think Wednesdays are actually good days to go to Disneyland. I'm not sure why, I think there's less people. Go during a Holiday you have that not many other people have..or skip school or whatever..

The best time to go is in June. The lines are short since the park just opened. Also make sure that you go on a week day!

I went once on Father's day, and except for a 2 hour window from noon to 2:00PM, it was like we had the park to ourselves.
