It's called Veterans Day here and today my thoughts are on my daughter being commissioned in the Army soon.... my thoughts of my years spend in the Army..... wishing that people had listened to me when I physically protested this Iraqi warcrime beforehand..... and so forth. Veterans rocks! There is a camaraderie that exists among us that is probably the best of my remembrance parts.

My dad. I don't remember him as I was only a year old when he joined the Royal Air Force and went to fight in the Second World War.He died as a Prisoner of War in the hands of the Japanese, after his troopship got torpedoed.He was 28 years old and he died for me. I wish I had known him.God Bless all the Veterans.

I always go to the war graves cemetery on Remembrance Sunday.
Kids died so that we can live. It makes me cry every year.

My dad. My grandad, a few great uncles and all their comrades... All the wives, fiancees and children who were heartbroken by their deaths.

Why doesn't the war stop so that we dont have to think of the men and women who died in the war.

how so many people died so pointlessly... those ba*****s are still out there. its scary... my thoughts are with the families.. makes you wonder whats next in line or rather who.
