for a party my sis wants either skittles or M&Ms to put in a HUGE bowl for people to take as they please

Put m&m's in the fridge for a long time, then take them out and put them in the bowl right before everyone comes... another option is to put 2 medium bowls out and fill 1 w/ skittles and 1w/ m&ms

Skittles are easier because some M&M's contain nuts and some people may have allergy and chocolate melts easily.
Skittle also all taste different whereas all M&M's are chocolate inside.
i suggest skittles, to satisfy everybodys needs :)
