Does anyone know why when I visit pages....?

Does anyone know why when I visit pages the pictures or animated images upload slow. I'm using IE7. I cleaned out cookies, etc. and when I visit pages like amazon, ebay, ae, oldnavy, etc. the images upload slow.

The upload speed for most Internet access accounts is usually slower than the download speed.

If you are uploading images from your computer to Internet sites, they are going to transfer at a slower speed than when you are downloading images from the Internet to your computer.

That's just the way of many ISPs.
