Definitely They risk their lives everyday just to save us. I think that's good! I wouldn't join the Army. I would love too. But just can't you know what I'm saying? I would love to become a Vet in the United States Military,Army,Coast Guard, Etc. I think everyone should take the time to recognize Vets throughout the U.S and everywhere else. I really appreciate what they do for us and everybody.

Yes I am. I will remember my dad, except I don't remember him, as I was one year old when he enlisted in the Royal Air Force in World War 2.
His troopship was torpedoed and he was taken prisoner by the Japanese and made to work in freezing conditions, in inadequate clothing, building Yokohama Airport.He died in captivity, of pneumonia.
I only wish I had some memory of him. He was 28 years old when he died. How nice that young people like yourself remember those who gave everything for your generation to live free. Salute the Vets!

My 85 year old Dad is speaking to a group of elementary school kids tomorrow about when he was in Italy in WW2 with the 10th Mountain Division. I think he is a little excited about that.

I think about the Vets more than this weekend. I have an MIA bracelet from the Vietnam war. Sgt. Willing, still trying to find what happened to you.

Yes, I am too. My hubby's a wounded veteran. He cries on Veteran's Day every year. I thank all soldiers and want them home safely someday.
