Well, I don't know what it means in terms of the song or singer, but it is an old term that refers to what is left in the bottom of a cooking pot when most of the food is gone. It is sometimes used in an insulting way to refer to someone or something being "pot scrapings" - not very good. A similar phrase might be "bottom of the barrel". I hope this is of some help.

I don't know but would guess it means "Bottom of the Barrel" ie. the dreggs.

That portion that remains by adhering to the vessel in which it was prepared, combined, stored or cooked.
