Annoyed, you are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!!
I am using Opera, but I tried with IE and the ":80" is not displayed there :S

What could be going on?

I thought it was Wikipedia because that's the only site I see that has it.

80 is the TCP port for the HTTP protocol.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_TCP_and_UDP_port_numbers

Check to see if there is an option in your browser to always display the port number. If that doesn't work, try clearing your cache and cookies in your browser and refreshing the site.

I'm not sure why it does this in some browsers, but i know the 80 is the port number.

It's not Wikipedia, it's your browser. Mine does that, too, sometimes, with various sites. I don't know why, though.
