i want to comete in the summer and am not sure of what to wear. i have beige jodhpurs and a tweed jacket. i am planning on doing showing, jumping, hunter & maybe dressage. what colour jacket should i buy? are beige/sandy jodhpurs ok?

yes there fine.
I buy black coats with any jodpurs i buy.
It just goes. If you are really in a bind just look up hunter/jumper shows on google images. You will see what most people wear.

For training level dressage no one will comment on a tweed jacket...no need to buy a new one for a while. Most summer shows will allow you to ditch the jacket to stay cool...and many shows will let you show in a light colored nice polo shirt with your breeches.

basically that's totally fine, especially for showing, jumping and hunter. Usually people wear black for dressage, but since it sounds like it's not like the Nationals or anything, tweed is just fine.

tweed will probably be hotter in the summer. and fyi, most shows in hunter/jumper dont allow black coats. but in dressage you need a black coat. breeches should be beige. i would get a navy coat, and white short to go.

when i go to shows i wear : ~
~cream jods
~a black jacket
~clean boots and chaps
~Hair tyed up or in a hair net.
